The Divine Comedy - Thrillseeker
If you’ve never heard of the Divine Comedy, or heard of them but actually haven’t heard them, then you’re in for a treat. Mixing orchestral pop with rock ballads and indie-something, they truly have a sound of their own. And this song really defines me and my state of mind at the moment. I need some action. “I can’t help it. I’d kill for that feeling now I’ve felt it.” (and yes, this is my last post in English)

TV on the Radio - Love Dog
I didn’t think they had it in them, but they’ve done it again. The success of 2006’s “Return to Cookie Mountain” will repeat itself with the new album “Dear Science” this fall. It’s a contender for “album of the year”-lists everywhere. It’s true. There’s nothing that can be compared to TVotR’s originality. Given this album sounds a lot poppier than the last one, “Love Dog” is more in the spirit of the older songs than any of the other new songs. You simply shouldn’t miss this. Listen. Learn. Live.

Bon Iver - Creature Fear
When I was walking home from my last day of work I was listening to the debut album of Bon Iver, a one-man group from Wisconsin, I realized that it was the perfect music to listen to when reaching the end of something. Bon Iver’s music has a kind of mellow and soft sound to it, but it’s still sad and maybe a bit hurt. Feeling all those feelings one feels when ending something really good, I walked slowly towards my home. Try Bon Iver. And as mentioned - best listened to when reaching the end of something really good.

Sufjan Stevens - In the Words of the Governor
Normally, Sufjan Stevens makes the cutest and loveliest music of today, But here, he’s gone in a quite different direction. Those who know and like Sufjan Stevens for his mellow and beautiful singing will be surprised by this. And those who have heard “A Sun Came!” will simply think “I could’ve seen this coming.” Lastly, for those who haven’t heard him at all - this isn’t what he usually sounds like, at all. Altough I think that nothing says garage screamo weirdo rock like Sufjan Stevens on retro crack!

Bakers At Dawn - Ancestor Contest
Slow, easy and pretty. There are millions of words to describe the beautiful melancholy of “Ancestor Contest”, but none of them are powerful enough to really get to you like the song does when you actually listen to it.Three minutes and seventeen seconds of pure delight is what it is, nothing more, nothing less.
